Biography

Brad Virata was born on November 23, 1976 in Oak Harbor, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in international communications and was an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. After graduation, he worked as a model and traveled throughout Europe and Asia. To further pursue his aspirations, he went to Los Angeles and studied in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Later, he worked for Guess? Men's Division. At present, he is the fashion director of men's merchandising for Lucky Brand Jeans. Aside from being involved in the fashion world, he is also linked with several organizations such as AIDS Project Los Angeles, Project Angel food and Starlight Foundation to name a few.

Recently, Brad Virata became part of the reality show Survivor: Cook Islands (Season 13). His comment on "every man for himself" stirred up suspicions among his tribe members that Brad might switch sides eventually. For this reason, he became the 9th contestant eliminated and the first member of the jury.
