Exclusive Interview: The Olly Girls from E!'s 'Sunset Tan'
Known for causing trouble, The Olly Girls, made up of best friends Holly and Molly, are two of the stars of E!'s hot reality show, Sunset Tan.  While they may get attention from men, they rub women the wrong way and keep their managers wondering if they can cut it as sales reps.  Six new episodes of the show kick off this weekend, starting Sunday night following The Girls Next Door.  Before that, The Olly Girls took some time to talk to BuddyTV about their hot TV show.

Below, you will find the complete transcript as well as an mp3 of the interview.

Hey everybody, this is Gina from Buddy TV, and I’m talking with the Olly Girls from Sunset Tan on E!. How you guys doing?

Hi, how are you?

I’m good, thanks, I’m so glad to be talking to you. Alright, so you guys are known as the Olly Girls. Tell us, how can we tell Holly and Molly apart?

We look different.  (laughter)

Can you describe yourselves a little bit for us? So you know, when people are watching, they don’t just lump you together as the Olly Girls?

Holly: Well, Molly’s taller by a few inches.

Molly: And Holly’s tanner. (laughter) Holly’s always tanner than I am.

Did you guys name yourselves the Olly Girls, or did someone else come up with that?

We did.

And when you started working at Sunset Tan, had the show started being filmed yet, or were you there beforehand?

Holly: We were there before they wanted to film us at Sunset Tan. And then E! came along and wanted to do the show, and we were already working here, and they loved us.

They loved you guys. You guys like to get yourselves into a little bit of trouble sometimes, would you say you’re both mischievous?

We don’t really cause trouble, they just think we’re trouble.

Have you worked with a lot of celebrities, working at Sunset Tan?

We’ve worked with a couple. They always come in and out, but a lot of times they always seem to be coming when we’re not there.

Yeah, you guys always seem to miss them.

Molly: I know.

Holly: Yes, somehow.

Molly: Wonder how that happens.

If you guys could have any celebrity come in, who would you want to meet?

Molly: I don’t know, someone who’s cool.

Holly: Big guy that we could get naked.

Molly: Fun to look at.

So you need a good-looking guy?

Yeah.

So tell me a little bit about what you do at Sunset Tan. Like when you go into work, what’s a typical day like for you guys?

Holly: Boring. (laughter) We get told we act like children, I’d rather it be a child than an old man, though.

Yeah, you guys always seem like you’re having a good time.

We are, we’re happy.

Since you’ve been on the show, have you guys been recognized when you’re out at all?

Molly: Yes, and it’s always at the worst moments, it seems to me. (laughter) Like, we’ll go out, like roll out of bed, haven't showed for a few days, go shopping, and then like, “Are you guys the Olly Girls?” We’re like, “Oh, yep.” (laughter)

Are there people that you have to work with that get on your nerves, that you don’t like working with?

Holly: Everyone.

Molly: Yeah, all of them, so fake. Like during work, they act like they’re cool with you. But outside of work, they’re just two faced bitches, all of them. Even Nick.

Now, what are your goals? Like when you’re older, what do you want to do with your life?

Holly: We want to do a whole lot of stuff. We want to do hosting on our own show, make our own candy.

Molly: Make our own lip gloss and skin care line.

Holly: We want to have Olly Pops, like some kind of candy.

Oh, I like that, Olly Pops.

Molly: Yeah, we’re into a lot of stuff.

So there’s some new episodes starting this weekend, and what can we expect coming up?

A bunch of drama and a bunch of funny Olly moments. (laughter) A lot of fun stuff.

Will there be any more celebrities coming in?

There might, yeah, you're gonna have to watch and find out.

Alright Olly Girls, well I’ll be watching this weekend. I want to thank you for your time, and I hope you guys do make those Olly Pops.

Thank you.

Bye girls.
