The CW announced its upcoming fall schedule which includes three new shows: The Originals, Reign, and The Tomorrow People. They also revealed two additional series which will air at mid-season in 2014: Star-Crossed and The 100. Check out the show descriptions, cast and sneak peek clips of the two mid-season shows.

Star-Crossed

Ten years before the show's premiere, the Atrians, an alien race, arrived in a small town and a battle ensued. A 6-year old Roman hid out in a shed and was protected by a young girl, Emery, who lived there.

Roman was captured, but Emery believed that he was dead. The Atrians are being held in a concentration camp facility called the Sector. A decision is made to allow the Atrian teens to attend a local suburban school.

On the first day of school, Emery finds out that Roman was not killed. They rekindle their friendship and it becomes much more. In a society that is weary of the Atrians, their relationship stirs up trouble, especially with their fathers both disapproving. Will Emery and Roman be able to overcome the stigma?

The series stars quite a few familiar faces: Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights) as Emery, Matt Lanter (90210) as Roman, Grey Damon (The Secret Circle, Nine Lives of Chloe King) as Grayson, Natalie Hall (Pretty Little Liars) as Taylor, Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries) as Julia, Titus Makin, Jr. (Glee) as Lukas, Chelsea Gilligan (How I Met Your Mother) as Teri and Greg Finley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager) as Drake.

The 100

After the earth was made uninhabitable due to a nuclear Armageddon, the human race was limited to the 400 people that occupied the 12 international space stations. Those stations combined to create a connected society, the Ark. After 97 years and three generations born in space, the population increased to over 4,000.

With resources running scarce, 100 teenagers are secretly sent down to earth to see if the world is ready to sustain human life again or not. Meanwhile, the Ark leadership is technologically-blind to the happenings on the island and have to make difficult life and death decisions to secure the future of the human race.

The exiles include: Clarke, the bright teenage daughter of the Ark's chief medical officer; Wells, son of the Ark's Chancellor; the daredevil Finn; and the brother/sister duo Bellamy and Octavia, whose illegal sibling status has always led them to flaunt the rules.

The series stars: Eliza Taylor as Clarke, Paige Turco (Person of Interest) as Abby, Thomas McDonell (Suburgatory) as Finn, Eli Goree (Emily Owens, M.D.) as Wells, Marie Avgeropoulos (50/50) as Octavia, Bob Morley as Bellamy, Kelly Hu (Arrow, The Vampire Diaries) as Cece, Christopher Larkin (Squad 85) as Monty, Devon Bostick (Aim High) as Jasper, with Isaiah Washington (Grey's Anatomy) as Chancellor Jaha, and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost, Scandal) as Kane.
