Sandy is a Texan squirrel who moved to Bikini Bottom in 1998. Her job is to produce inventions and do her experiments underwater. She resides in a Treedome, an air-filled structure. Her trademark outfits are her purple bikini with a purple skirt, and her air-filled diving outfit. Sandy is one of the strongest creatures in Bikini Bottom, and she can pull massive vessels from the surface of the ocean. When she hibernates, Sandy turns into a bear-like creature, and she has the tendency to walk in her sleep. Her interests include meditation, surfing, and karate, among many others. She built her own rocket ship, called Sandy's Rocket.
