FOX obviously led the evening last night with its premiere of the eighth season of So You Think You Can Dance. No new summer shows have premiered as of yet, so Dance is completely without competition at the moment.

So You Think You Can Dance was up 7% from last year's premiere episode, with 9.1 million viewers. The episode consisted of the auditions held in Atlanta and the Bay area, with judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and a host of guest judges selecting the cream of the crop to join them in Vegas.

Beyond that, last night was all about reruns, with old episodes of The Big Bang Theory (8.17 million), CSI (7.84 million) and The Mentalist (9.1 million) leading the pack.

Look forward to new summer shows premiering to save us from reruns!
