With Mia Michaels gone, So You Think You Can Dance will presumably be looking for new choreographers to fill the void she's left. Lucky for So You Think You Can Dance, I have a perfect recommendation for a new choreographer: Ryan Kasprzak.

Hear me out here Kasprzak haters. Ryan Kasprzak is a great dancer, but from everything we've seen, he's a brilliant choreographer. Plus, season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance supposedly has a trio of tappers in the Top 20. This means somehow, one of the tappers will end up with the show's very first tap routine, just as ballerina Melissa did with the classical pas de deux. And who better to choreograph the first tap routine than the man behind what Adam Shankman declared the best audition in the history of So You Think You Can Dance?

But don't pigeonhole Ryan as solely a tap choreographer, he was also responsible for the solos that endeared brother Evan to the judges during season 5. When the judges chose the younger Kasprzak over Ryan in the final elimination of the Green Mile, they told Evan to thank the older Kasprzak because it was the solo Ryan had choreographed which gave him the edge. Ryan could bring a more classic approach to jazz choreography on a show whose jazz routines come in two flavors: dark and quirky (see: Sonya Tayeh) and 80's inspired (see: Mandy Moore.) I, for one, would love to see a theatrical jazz routine like Evan's "Zing Went the Strings of My Heart" from last season.

Not only would Ryan bring technical skills and new talent as a choreographer to So You Think You Can Dance, it would also excite (and perhaps appease) the scores of fans who are still disappointed Ryan won't be in this season's Top 20. While he might not be ready to dance in the Top 20, there's no doubt in my mind he's ready to choreograph them.Like I said before, great dancer, brilliant choreographer. Plus, the judges have said time after time that they love Ryan, his routines, and working with him, so this seems like a potentially perfect marriage.

So, I'm starting a campaign I can get behind this election season, and I hope that you join too. Ryan Kasprzak for season 6 So You Think You Can Dance choreographer!
