So You Think You Can Dance: Top 8, Live Results
After last night, I wouldn't be surprised by anything on tonight's So You Think You Can Dance results show.  There were highs and lows for everyone on the show, and there's no use in predicting who America has voted out.  If it were up to me, I'd eliminate Lacey and Dominic, but I wouldn't feel very good about it.  I bet the judges are very happy that they don't have to make this decision.  I'll be here throughout the episode, giving live updates as the show goes along.

And it begins.  The opening solo routine is Matrix-inspired.  Seriously.  They're all wearing slick suits, led by Lauren who is wearing Trinity's outfit.  They even do “bullet-time” a few times.  Really cool, but random.

Nigel gives a long spiel about how difficult the life of a dancer is.  It's better than a factory worker.  They're doing a lot of stalling here at the beginning of the episode. We'll get some results after the first break, or so Cat tells me.

Huh.  Every dancer is getting the opportunity to dance a solo in their own style.  Sara is up first.  She does her B-Girl thing and it's pretty cool.

Lacey is up next and she does her best to act sexy, like she always does.  I'm getting a little tired of her schtick.

Sabra goes next and she kicks the first two girls' asses.  That was awesome.

Lauren finishes up the girls' solos. She's not bad, but Sabra was way better.

Male solo time.  Neil is up first. He does a lot of spinning and a little jumping.  Danny goes next and rips up the stage.  Dude is impressive.  Dominic goes next and does some crazy stuff, including using a chair as a prop.  It's difficult to explain, but it was sweet.  Pasha finishes it up with a bull dance, shirtless and with a big red cape.  That'll get some female votes.  Next, finally, after the break we're going to get some results.

Female results first: Sara is in the bottom two, Lacey is safe.  Boo.  Lauren is in the bottom two, Sabra is safe.

Man, they are really drawing this thing out.  FOX, no one would be upset if you made the results show a half hour.

Male results: Danny is safe, Neil is in the bottom two.  Pasha is safe, Dominic is in the bottom two.

Before the final results, special guests One Republic perform a song for everyone.  It's okay.

Final results time!!! Finally!!!  Ladies first.

Sara von Gilern is going home.  That's a big surprise, actually.

Now for the dudes.  Dominic Sandoval has been eliminated.  End of show.  That's a tough exit for the two break dancers.
