Ah, Wednesdays -- where the dancing is good, the fashion is questionable, the hostess is adorable, and the "random" dance hat of death is clearly playing favorites.

It's time for the final 14 to take the stage tonight, and I, for one, am excited to see what they bring. As always you can follow along with my live thoughts here on BuddyTV and over in the Twitter-verse.

Beyond the dancing itself, we have a few other things to look forward to. Mia Michaels is the guest judge this week, which could make for some interesting commentary, especially when it comes to Brandon. Hopefully Mia is on better, more professional behavior than in Las Vegas when it comes to Brandon. But either way we're eager to hear what she has to say, and I'll have the proverbial popcorn ready.

Also, according to Adam Shankman and his twitter, there will be a big announcement on tonight's So You Think You Can Dance. While we're not certain what this big announcement is, we think it's most likely one of the following: news about the planned Michael Jackson tribute, SYTYCD tour news, 100th episode and special guest (cough cough Katie Holmes) news, or Nigel announcing that Shanks has been added as a permanent judge. Shanks and Nigel have been in a protracted twitter battle, which has involved the stealing of profile photos and pleas for Twitterers to message Nigel that Shankman should be added as a third permanent judge. If Mr. Shankman himself is twitter-pimping the big news, we wouldn't be surprised if it had to do with a possible promotion.

It's dancing time! It's time to see if Cat has decided to wear a Hawaiian pantsuit or a gigantic ruffle yet again -- it's time for So You Think You Can Dance!

Wowza, they are going for the dramatic music for tonight's introduction! Sounds like they're calling the hounds of hell rather than the Top 14 dancers to the stage. But, somehow, it does just what they want and makes me even more excited!

Cat's wearing a perfectly adorable strapless pink frock, with a wide belt at the waist. Good job Cat. Does anyone else think that her outfits this year have been a little Jekyll and Hyde? One day good, the next day very very bad? What are Cat's alter ego's names? Kitten and Alley Cat?

And Randi is back in her unitard -- thankfully Brandon is not. The intro dances have gotten worlds better since the beginning of the show, it seems everyone is so much more comfortable on stage.

Tonight's jidges are Nigel, Mary Murphy, and Mia Michaels. Mia is looking adorable and she and Mary and making dinosaur faces at each other. If you're following Nigel Lythgoe (DizzyFeet) on Twitter, you know what this is all about -- but I'll post photographic evidence during a commercial break.

Cat gets right down to it and asks Mia if her opinions have changed about anyone since her last time she was judging. I wonder who she could possibly be talking about?!? Mia says without naming names, my opinion has changed for the better. So there you have it America -- Mia has been won over by Brandon, just as I have. So no showdown between Mia and Brandon tonight, but I still can't wait to hear what they have to say.

Tonight's first dance will come courtesy of -- none other than Brandon himself. Guess we won't have to wait long!

Brandon and Janette
Cha-Cha choreographed - Jean-Marc Genereux
Hush Husl Hush Hush by The Pussy Cat Dolls

"She was beautiful, I was beautiful." Oh Carlton Banks, I mean Brandon. Carlton Banks and Brandon are secretly twins.

Jean-Marc Genereux are making me uncomfortable with their sexual innuendos and eyes -- but seeing Janette doing the cha cha, makes me very happy. I can't wait to see this lady do something spicy, but we shall see -- right now!

The dacce starts out with a stunning lift, before getting right into the hip and booty shaking. I am thnking this cha-cha is definitely raunchy and sexy enough for Mary -- since day one Brandon and Janette have had great chemistry. Janette is going about a million miles a second, and Brandon's promenades and pointed toes is looking good -- but there's no taking your eyes of Janette tonight. Definitely spicy, and as promised a little dangerous...let's see what the judges and Mia think.

Nigel says it was possibly the best damn cha cha he's ever seen on the show. So I guess the judges are going to like it! He says the dance could have been on a professional stage on the international level. Nigel says the pair is brilliant and a wonderful couple -- and he's a litte red in the face. Of course you can hear a train coming Mary Murphy. No surprise there! Even Nigel thinks he hears a train coming. First Mary takes the time to compliment the way Janette's ankles were shaped, she's in love with Brandon as well too and says he can do anything. Then she deafs us all by saying the pair has earned two first class tickets on the Hot Tamale Train. Mia says she knows she's scared the "bleep out of Brandon," but says the people she's toughest on people who are the most talented. This has Brandon crying. And me crying now. Thanks Brandon, I am alll teary and quivery lipped. And Janette. And maybe Jean Marc Genereux. We're all crying now! Mia ends her comments by saying that Janette's been on fire since day one and she still is. Glad people are starting to stand up and take notice of Janette, I've enjoyed every time she's stepped on stage.

Also, can we all agree to never have another dance done to a Pussycat Dolls song? Would that be too much to ask? Brandon will disagree with me -- he seemed to know every word to the song, did you notice him singing along?
