The performances from the So You Think You Can Dance top 16 were incredible. Sadly, we also had to face saying goodbye to two more dancers. The bottom six dancers were Mariah Spears, Alan Bersten, Makenzie Dustman, Dorian "BluPrint" Hector, Jenna Johnson and Curtis Holland. The judges chose to save Jenna Johnson, and the other five dancers danced to save their spot in the competition. Alas, the judges opted to send home Mariah Spears and her partner, BluPrint.

Let's try and predict what the So You Think You Can Dance future holds for our remaining dancers based on their performances tonight.

SYTYCD Recap: The Top 16 Dance and 2 Go Home >>>

The Best of the Night

Several couples had amazing performances, including the dynamic duo of Amy Yakima and DuShaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall. Their Tyce Diorio jazz routine was fun and simply entertaining. These hobos hopped aboard Mary Murphy's hot tamale train, hopefully with first class tickets!

I also loved Jenna Johnson and Tucker Knox's contemporary routine. This piece, choreographed by Travis Wall, told the story of a person with no self-control. Jenna performed with her arms attached to ropes like a puppet. It was mesmerizing and beautiful. Finally, Tucker and Jenna had a So You Think You Can Dance stand-out moment that allowed them both to shine.

Makenzie Dustman and Paul Karmiryan's hip-hop routine, choreographed by Dave Scott, could be summed up in one word: sexy! This pair earned a standing ovations from the judges, and a seat on Nigel Lythgoe's own hot tamale train.

Who Is In Danger?

This is more difficult to predict. Several couples performed well, but just didn't set the dance floor on fire. The jive performed by Alexis Juliano and Nico Greetham seemed to stall energy-wise about mid-way through the dance. It also seemed to lack a connection between the two dancers.

Malece Miller and Alan Bersten's Dave Scott hip-hop routine was puzzling. The number was about futuristic robots, and even though Malece received raves from the judges, the routine was lacking swag in my opinion. It just didn't seem to fully gel.

Hayley Erbert and Curtis Holland stumbled with their contemporary routine. The couple even danced on a ladder, which definitely was impressive. In my opinion, the couple once again seemed a bit off. While the judges praised Hayley, Curtis received criticism for not dropping his shoulders.

Again, there were no truly terrible performances, just some that lacked connection or technical chops. I think, for that reason, any of these dancers could be in the bottom six and in danger of being eliminated from the competition.

My hunch is that we will be saying goodbye to Alexis Juliano and Curtis Holland.
