The number of dancers left on
So You Think You Can Dance is steadily dwindling. Tonight the top 14 dancers became 12.
Among the notable aspects from tonight's results show was a guest performance from Robert Muraine, the amazing popper from California, who made it to Las Vegas but gave up after a day of grueling auditions. He came back tonight to show off his contortionist abilities, and even agreed to come back to battle against Phillip Chbeeb for the
So You Think You Can Dance finale. Also performing was OneRepublic.
But you don't care about that do you? Here's the good stuff. The bottom three girls:
Courtney Galiano
Courtney is cute as a button, but she can be a fearsome force when she leaps and bounds and spins across the stage. She danced her solo confidently, and the judges sailed her through till next week.
Comfort Fedoke
How many times has Comfort been in the bottom three thus far? Too many, but it looks like she'll live to see at least another week. Her solo this week was at a higher quality than her previous solos, which might have been what saved her.
Kourtni Lind
Tonight marked Kourtni's third time in the bottom three and her last night on
So You Think You Can Dance. She is an amazing dancer, but she has lost her luster of late, and the judges, though not unanimous, decided it was time for her to say good-bye.
The bottom three boys:
Gev Manoukian
Gev is just as cute as his partner Courtney Galiano, and his solo was just as fantastic, if not more. He showed great athleticism, as well as a great stage presence, and he'll be back next week.
Thayne Jasperson
While I thought Thayne's solo was the weakest of the night, the judges apparently saw more potential in him. He will be back next week.
Matt Dorame
Tonight was Matt's last night to jete across the stage. The judges recognized that he came into the competition at a very high level, but they were disappointed in not seeing enough improvement. So long, Matt!
