Martha Nichols was born on July 14, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York but is currently residing in Raleigh, North Carolina. She started dancing at the age of 2 ½. She extensively trained for ballet and jazz dance for more than 10 years. At present, she is a part-time dance teacher and a hip hop specialist. Martha became a top 20 finalist on Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance. She was paired with Travis Wall until Week 5, and was eliminated on Week 6 along with Dmitry Chaplin.
