Guess who's finally coming out of the closet. On the next new episode of Smallville coming March 12, Clark Kent reveals his deep, dark secret: he is the super hero known as the Red Blue Blur.

The next episode of Smallville may be more than three weeks away, but the CW has a clip of the new episode to whet fans' appetites. Not only does the episode, titled “Infamous,” feature Clark coming out, but it also marks the return of watery gossip columnist Linda Lake (Tori Spelling).

According to the clip, Clark lets the world know that he's an alien from Krypton, and Lake then tries to bring him down by calling him a threat to their way of life. Call me crazy, but I'm guessing this has to be either a dream or alternate reality, because once Clark lets the world know his secret, it's hard to put that genie back in the bottle.

Also, the idea of the government hunting down a man with powers at the behest of someone who secretly has powers of their own is a little played out, especially since that's exactly what's happening right now on Heroes.

Aside from the glory of Tori Spelling, the episode also marks the return of Sam Witwer as Davis Bloom, aka Doomsday. It seems his transformation wasn't permanent, so we still get the monstrous Doomsday plus the oh-so-handsome face of Mr, Witwer.





“Infamous” airs Thursday, March 12 at 8pm on the CW.
