Smallville 'Progeny' Spoilers!
Smallville 'Progeny' Spoilers!
Next week Smallville returns with the all new episode 'Progeny' guest starring super hero royalty Lynda "Wonder Woman" Carter as Chloe's meteor afflicted mother.  As Smallville grows ever closer to its finale we should expect to see signs of an end-game beginning to form up in Smallville.  Could it be that 'Progeny' holds the beginnings of what will become the core of the Smallville finale?  We checked in with our usual list of suspects to get all the lowdown on what to expect from next weeks thrilling Smallville.

First up, we go right to the source:  TheCW.  What do they want us to know about 'Progeny':

After Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers Chloe’s (Allison Mack) mother Moira (Lynda Carter) has the power to control meteor freaks, he develops a drug to wake her from her catatonic state in the asylum, then threatens to kill Chloe unless she uses her power to help him. Clark (Tom Welling) helps Chloe break into the asylum to rescue Moira and finally get to know her mother.

Man, Lex is just  off the wall with the evil these days.  You can really see where they are preparing him to go outlaw next season. Now as for the story behind the story, we have some spoilers courtesy of www.kryptonsite.com that will blow your mind.  Check this out:

  • There is some long-awaited confrontation and conflict between Chloe and Lex in this episode.
Well, it's about time!  Are we finally going to get a glimpse as to what Chloe's power is?  My hunch is no.  I think they will be saving that one for the finale.  But that's just me.

  • Davidson hurts Lana, who is taken to the Smallville Medical Center and tells Clark not to worry, that she has miscarried the baby anyway. Lana also decides to get some tests done for herself to find out what happened with her pregnancy.
Davidson... JERK!  So Lana comes clean about losing the baby, but what will the tests reveal?  Why do I sense trouble in the Luthor household, and what do you imagine Clark's reaction is going to be.  No wonder Lex is so anxious to kill him.

Amazingly enough, with that in mind, what lays beyond progeny is a highly unexpected Clark and Lex TEAM UP!  Yes, that is right, the arch rivals will be setting aside their differences for their mutual good in the following week's episode 'Nemesis',  but more on that next week!
