After his attempt to bring physical education to the school systems,
Shaquille O’Neal has yet another challenge in the next episode of his reality show
Shaq’s Big Challenge. Here’s a little appetizer on what’s coming up.
As the kids’ fitness program gets tough, Shaquille O’Neal is compelled to give them more encouragement, support and inspiration. To boost their spirits to hit the 20-pound weight-loss milestone, the six kids are offered the opportunity to win tickets to a Miami Heat game, which is Shaquille O’Neal’s current team.
So far, the kids’ weights at the last weigh-ins are as follows:
James Pistocchi - 174 pounds with eight pounds lost
Chris Britto - 197 pounds with nine pounds lost
Ariel Pittsinger - 200 pounds with eleven pounds lost
Kevin Evans - 227 pounds with three pounds lost
Kit Maldanado - 252 pounds with eleven pounds lost
Walter Holleger - 270 pounds with fifteen pounds lost
Having been faced with another dilemma, O’Neal brings in chef Tyler Florence onto his dream team to help revamp the menu at the school cafeteria. However, complications arise, including a miniscule budget and a fire drill in the midst of lunch. On top of that, O’Neal is anxious if the students will like his creation of “turkey sushi.”
Shaq’s Big Challenge, a reality television show on ABC, follows O’Neal and his team of health experts as they tackle childhood obesity by working one on one with six obese middle school aged children from Broward County, Florida, to lose weight and gain a healthy lifestyle.
Fans can catch a new episode of
Shaq’s Big Challenge every Tuesday at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. Meanwhile, like most current ABC shows, episodes of
Shaq’s Big Challenge can also be watched after they air free of charge on ABC's website.
