Best known as the short and stocky character George Costanza,
Jason Alexander became a household name as one of the main cast members of the award-winning sitcom
Seinfeld. As the best friend of Jerry Seinfeld, he gave humor to the show with his neurotic and self-loathing persona, not to mention his pursuit of countless jobs and women.

After
Seinfeld ended in 1998, Alexander performed voice work for animated shows and movies like
Hercules, Madeline: Lost in Paris, The Legend of Tarzan, The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle and
Jingle Bells. Later, he was given the opportunity to star on a prime time sitcom called
Bob Patterson but failed to live up to his
Seinfeld reputation as the series got cancelled after only five episodes. Although his program got revoked, Alexander was offered a string of television appearances on shows like
Star Trek: Voyager, The Merger, Friends,
Son of the Beach, House of Mouse, The Twilight Zone, Malcolm in the Middle, Listen Up and
Monk. He also graced the movie world with projects like
Shallow Hal, How to Go Out on a Date in Queens and
Hood of Horror. Most recently, he signed on to be featured as a regular cast member on the second season of
Everybody Hates Chris and guest starred in the third episode of the improv comedy series
Thank God You’re Here.
Alexander will be featured in the film
The Grand, where he plays Dr. Yakov Achmed. The movie is about an improvisational comedy featuring a bunch of actors involved in an actual poker tournament. The said film will be released some time this year. He is also set to star on the 2008 TV show called
Untitled Victoria Pile Project where he plays Lieutenant Stanley Banks. Currently, he dedicates his time as the national spokesman for the Scleroderma Foundation.
