Dilana Robichaux was best known as a contestant on the reality contest Rock Star: Supernova, a show, which featured the pop punk band Supernova as they search for a lead singer from a bunch of contestants. Throughout the show, she received many praises and became controversial when she made some comments during a staged press conference where she became blunt with her opinions about her fellow contestants. Nevertheless, she apologized repeatedly for the remarks she had made. And although she was able to gain back the confidence of her fans by the end of the season, she lost to Lukas Rossi and ended up as a runner-up of the competition.

After Rock Star: Supernova, she joined fellow Rock Star: Supernova finalist Magni in performing at various events, and even won an FM957 People’s Choice Award for “Gig of the Year” in January 2007. In addition, she had her first independent tour across the United States and launched her own clothing line, which is distributed by Urok clothing. Most recently, she opened for the Rock Star Supernova tour and served as Aerosmith’s opening act at the Manadalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Robichaux has an upcoming album, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2007. Recorded with the help of Gilby Clarke, Adrian Young, and the Rock Star house band, the said album will be released under the record label “Rusty Harp.” The said album will also feature several covers and some of her original work. Fans can catch the 34-year old rocker on July 1, 2007 at Downsview Park at Toronoto, Canada, July 5, 2007 in Ice Land, and August 11, 2007 at Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas.
