Bret Michaels Tends to Post-'Rock of Love' Endeavors
Now that Rock of Love has finally concluded with Ambre Lake taking home the bacon, Bret Michaels is ready to move on with his life and further his musical career.  In fact, he's busy doing his solo tour all over the United States while making guest appearances on TV shows here and there.

Following the reunion special of Rock of Love 2 on Sunday, which garnered high ratings and became the number one show on cable for that day, Bret Michaels is set to take on another short stint on a reality television series.

On Thursday, May 1, Bret Michaels will be appearing in the Celebrity Edition of Don't Forget the Lyrics.  Fans should tune in to FOX at 9pm to catch their favorite rock star belt out some tunes on the stage, and hopefully not forget the lyrics of the songs they might throw at him.

Meanwhile, if you didn't catch Bret Michaels' appearance on Jimmy Kimmel on April 9th, you can view the clip below.  On the show, Bret talks about how he had to deal with the five months following the filming of Rock of Love 2, in which he was not allowed to see Ambre.

Rock of Love 2 has indeed become a success, and the ratings and TV show appearances of Bret are evidence of it.  In fact, the reunion show's ratings were up about 38% over the season premiere's average and up about 8% from the debut season's reunion.  For the average ratings of the whole season, the show garnered an average of 2.11 in the 18-49 bracket, which is up about 29% from the show's freshman season average.

In other Bret news, the former Poison front man is about to release his latest solo album entitled Rock My World, which hits retail stores on June 3rd.  The CD, which contains mostly previously released material, will treat fans to 12 tracks of pure Bret Michaels vocals.

Meanwhile, fans in North Carolina and Wisconsin will be glad to know that Bret Michaels will be heading to a venue near you for a performance.  Fans in North Carolina can catch Bret Michaels as he makes an appearance in Raleigh's Hi 5 today and at the Cherokee Survivors Bike Rally tomorrow, April 25.  Unfortunately for Winsconsin fans, Bret's gig at the Lake Of The Torches Resort Casino in Lac Du Flambeau on Saturday, April 26 is already sold out.  However, there's still a chance to see him as he performs at the event called A Taste of Summer at Waukesha, Wisconsin on June 5th.  For those who want to catch him live, better grab your tickets now before it's too late.  For more information on Bret Michaels' gigs and appearances, log on to or
