'Ringer' Recap: Double Jeopardy
'Ringer' Recap: Double Jeopardy
On this week's episode of Ringer, Bridget has to deal with an unpleasant house guest while Siobhan almost gets caught in her webs of deception. So much intrigue, so little time, so let's get to it.

Unwelcome Home

Bridget is trying to call Malcolm about learning more about the hotel clue left by Charlie, but surprise to no one, he doesn't answer. She gets up to her penthouse and finds the place is a wreck, while a crappy cover of "Tainted Love" is being blared through the stereo. Only two types of people would do this, and that is either teenage girls "rebelling" against their parents, or washed up cougars "rebelling" against the flow of time. After Bridget comes inside, she is followed by Juliet who says she was at a movie, which can mean only one thing. Bridget soon finds Catherine, Juliet's biological mother, drinking in her bathtub. I wonder why Andrew divorced this beautiful flower?

While Bridget encounters Catherine, Siobhan is busy trying to convince Henry that she still loves him. Henry says he's sorry about the miscarriage, which Siobhan is taken aback by. She then tells Henry to meet her the next day.

Pawn Stars

The next day, Siobhan calls Tyler in Paris and tells him that she has the Andrew's financial documents and that she'll be returning to France after she talks to a man named Solomon. After the phone call, Siobhan goes into a pawn shop to sell the eighty-karat ring that she stole from Bridget. The pawn shop owner says he'll only give her $15,000 because it is stolen, and Siobhan agrees. What a terrible negotiator. Meanwhile, Bridget is hard at work calling the hotel in Paris where Siobhan was staying. She uses Siobhan's alias of Cora and gets more information from the concierge desk, but they can't disclose when she was there unless she has the credit card she used.

After this set back, Bridget calls Andrew's office and has the secretary connect her to the Paris office where she is connected to Tyler. Tyler brings up Solomon, and Bridget clearly has no idea what he is talking about. Andrew interrupts the call and says that he found out the rinn was sold to the pawn shop due to the serial number on the diamond. Busted, Bridget. tyler then calls Siobhan's cell and asks what the last call was about. It's like Chaplin's movie The Great Dictator, only with less of a warning about Nazism.

Shady Dealings

Siobhan meets with a very legit looking business man in a shady alley way and gives him her ring money for a French Passport in Cora's name. She says that it won't do and that she needs a new one under the name Rebecca Shelldrake. If Siobhan has one true talent in the world, it is coming up with ridiculous pseudonyms. The guy throws Cora's passport in the trash, but Henry, who was being a sneaky sneak, takes it out of the trash. When Siobhan meets up with Henry he says that he knows she is responsible for killing Gemma, and that she is really Bridget. Well, one out of two isn't bad I guess. That's when Victor comes in to take over questioning.

Bridget and Andrew are busy meeting with Juliet's principal who shows them surveillance video of Juliet grinding against a very uncomfortable Mr. C in the hallway. Catherine and Juliet arrive just in time to pop some popcorn for the show, and Catherine immediately starts screaming at her slut of a daughter. I'd hate to say it Juliet, but it's looking like she may have a point.

Forensics Never Lie

Victor takes Siobhan into the police station and finger prints her. It turns out that she is really Siobhan. He then grills her about her connection to Charlie and the fake passport. Siobhan says that she hired Charlie as a Private Eye and that he told her about the guy who made the passport for Bridget. Victor has no choice but to let her go...for now.

Andrew comes home that night and tells Bridget that the charges against Mr. C are going to be dropped. He then shows her that he got the ring back and even resized it. Just when it looks like it is time to make out, Juliet comes in and says that Catherine needs help. Andrew finds his lovely ex burning Juliet's pictures and saying she is having a funeral for her daughter, who has become a slut. I don't understand why this woman didn't win the custody battle. After a big fight, Bridget talks to Juliet about her home screwed up parents.

Henry's Lament

The next day, Bridget learns about Siobhan using anagrams to hide her secrets and sets to work looking through Siobhan's day planner. She comes across the name of a guy named Moses, which along with his last name, spells out Solomon. Bridget calls the number and uses the name of Cora and is told that a driver will pick her up shortly. He arrives and asks if she has her gun like she normally does. He then also spills the beans that Siobhan knew about Bridget being in Wyoming well before she had told her. Thanks for the info Super Knowledgeable Driver Guy!

Bridget tells the driver to take her back home, but she doesn't know that Siobhan and Henry are waiting outside. Siobhan shows Henry that Bridget is pretending to be her, and that she is the real Siobhan. Not only is this a problem for Bridget, but Jimmy, the crooked cop, may be on her tail for Macawi soon. Looks like tough times are ahead.

The pace is starting to pick up again, and it's only going to get more ridiculous/great. It looks like the writer's are going for broke in case their isn't a second season, and I think that that's the smart way to go.
