FOX is getting into the live musical game. Following the massive success of The Sound of Music on NBC (and that network's plans for Peter Pan in the future), FOX has ordered a live production of the classic musical Grease.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Grease Live will be a three-hour event airing sometime in 2015 on FOX. Like NBC's The Sound of Music, it will be a live televised event featuring a young ensemble cast to introduce the story of Rydell High to a new generation.

Grease began as a Broadway musical in 1971 and became a huge hit when the film version starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John premiered in 1978.

Since the show will air on FOX, it will be interesting to see if any Glee actors show up. That would make sense, especially since the show already covered Grease in the first half of season 4.

Who do you think should play Sandy, Danny and Rizzo in FOX's Grease Live? And how do you think it will compare to NBC's The Sound of Music or the upcoming Peter Pan?
