American actor Randy Harrison was born on November 2, 1977 in Nashua, New Hampshire. The son of a business executive, he attended the elite and private prep school Pace Academy and has been acting since the age of seven. Randy Harrison graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s Music Conservatory with a degree in Musical Theater, and has appeared in productions such as Children of Eden, Hello Again, Wicked, A Cheever Evening, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Equus. He has also acted in the television movie Bang Bang, You’re Dead. Openly gay, he shares a home in Brooklyn with his partner, celebrity journalist Simon Dumenco.

Justin Taylor is a comic book illustrator played by Randy Harrison in the gay life comedy-drama Queer As Folk. Nicknamed “Sunshine” for his bright smile and his cheerful demeanor, he’s taken home at the start of the series and loses his virginity to Brian. He also becomes involved in a love triangle between himself, Brian and Brian’s best friend Michael. Due to his homosexuality, Justin is kicked out from home by his father, though his mother remains concerned and supportive. He keeps trying to pursue Brian, even inviting the older man to his prom and winning the gay club contest “King of Babylon.”
