It's no secret that Girlicious, the American pop all girl group formed by
Robin Antin on the reality series
Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, has already started recording their debut album and working on music videos. In the coming weeks, they'll be as busy as ever as they promote their new singles on tour.
Girlicious, which consists of
Nichole Cordova,
Tiffanie Anderson,
Chrystina Sayers and
Natalie Mejia, has not received a lot of attention from the United Sates as compared to Canadian audiences, despite being nominated for "Breakout Group" and for the category of "Reality: Music Competition" at this year's Teen Choice Awards. For this reason, the group's first studio album will be officially released in Canada on August 12.
At present, Girlicious has two new singles, "Stupid S***", and "Like Me." The former
debuted at number 4 on the Canadian Hot 100, while the latter single debuted at number 20. As part of their promotional efforts, the group plans to tour North America as the opening act of the "Unbreakable Tour" with the Backstreet Boys begining July 30 at the Mile One Stadium in Canada.
Subsequently, Girlicious will be hopping with the Backstreet Boys to Moncton, NB, Canada at the Moncton Coliseum Complex on August 1 and at the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, NS, Canada on August 2.
Since appearing on
Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, Nichole Cordova, Tiffanie Anderson, Chrystina Sayers and Natalie Mejia have been quite visible on the TV circuit, guest starring on shows like
KTLA Morning News, Big Idea, The Sauce, TRL, The Playbook, and
MuchOnDemand. Most recently, they have also presented an award for Best International Video to Rihanna for
Don't Stop the Music, and performed for the first time in an awards night as well. This also marked the gorup's first time to perform in Canada, where they are well received.
