Katie Holmes has been in the middle of a media frenzy since news broke last week that she was divorcing Tom Cruise after five years of marriage. But the actress turned fashion designer still kept her date with Project Runway All Stars, which is in the middle of filming its second season for Lifetime.

On Monday, Holmes was spotted leaving Parsons The New School for Design in New York City, after filming a guest judge stint alongside regular judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman. After filming, Mizrahi told People that Holmes was a nice addition to the show: "She did great," he said.

Another unnamed source told the mag, "She was engaged, articulate and wonderful!"

Indeed, reports and photos continue to surface that Holmes has been visibly happier since releasing news of the split and moving into a luxurious apartment in NYC with her daughter Suri, 6. The overwhelming public fascination with the A-list split, coupled with dark rumors that Cruise's Scientologist ties could make for an ugly separation and custody battle, haven't seemed to affect the actress much, who yesterday told the New York Daily News, "I'm all right. Thank you."

Six weeks before announcing her divorce, Holmes spoke to Elle for their August issue, and potentially hinted at the impending split: "I know who I am and where I want to go," she said. "I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier. I think in my twenties -- it's like you're trying too hard to figure everything out. ... I'm starting to come into my own. It's like a new phase."

Post-split, Holmes is reportedly renewing her focus on her fashion line, Holmes and Yang, which she started with her longtime friend and stylist Joanne Yang in 2009. For her Project Runway appearance, Holmes wore a Holmes & Yang Color-Block Camp dress from the Fall 2012 collection. Women's Wear Daily reports that for the first time since the line's inception, the designers plan to debut pieces from their spring collection at New York Fashion Week this fall.

There's no premiere date for Project Runway All Stars just yet. But season 10 of Project Runway, with host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia all returning, premieres soon: July 19 at 9pm on Lifetime. Watch a preview and meet the season 10 designers below:
