Paradise City is a reality show on E! which premiered on March 3, 2007. From the producers of Laguna Beach and Ryan Seacrest, this reality series gives a first hand look on what it’s like to live, love and work in Las Vegas. The show has a similar concept to Laguna Beach, where cameras follow the lives of 13 “twenty something” individuals, as they pursue their own dreams in the sin city.

The cast of the show are Anthony Cools, Destiny Davis, Rick DeJesus, Jenner Evans, Willie Hullet, Greta Jawel, JJ Jones, Jack Lafleur, April Rawlings, Jesse Reif, Lacy Reiss and Molly Sullivan.

The series kicked off with its pilot episode “Vegas, Baby!” introducing Jenner who moved from Los Angeles to Vegas to start with her own online magazine for women. Upon moving, she meets the club waitress Greta, who becomes her roommate, the entertainment reporter Molly and Playboy bunny April. Their male friends, Rick, who is a front man of a band and Willie, who is a model, are also introduced in the episode.

In the next episode, Rick’s band gets to perform for a recording industry executive. Rick then invites April to hear their performance. Meanwhile, Jeanner goes on a date with Willie.

Conflict between the cast are also showed in the series as the events in their lives progress. In the episode “Keep Your Friends Close and Your Enemies Closer,” Molly becomes jealous of Jenner’s continuous success on her online magazine and decides to sabotage the latter’s press event. Meanwhile, Rick and April had a serious misunderstanding. Tension between Molly and Jeanner gets even worse when they fight over a guy, as shown in the episode “Lions and Cheetahs.”

In “All In,” Rick’s band gets a shot at a record deal while Jenner must choose between Jack and her former flame.

The series aired a total of nine episodes with the last one showing Jenner finally choosing the guy she really wants to be with.
