One Tree Hill: Episode 6.7 "Messin' With the Kid" Recap (Page 1/3)

Last week's episode of One Tree Hill found Dan and Jamie sharing some bonding time, Brooke opening up to Peyton about her mugging, and Lucas starting and ending his book tour.  The only person who showed up to see Lucas promote The Comet was Mouth, who promptly decided to move back to Tree Hill to be near Millicent and his friends.  While Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) experienced a major professional setback, Nathan pondered a future career as a Slamball player.

On tonight's One Tree Hill, Jamie faces off with a school bully who dares to insult his cape, and Lucas and Peyton adjust to living together.

One Tree Hill starts off with Peyton (Hilarie Burton) having nightmares about living with Lucas.  I can't say I blame her.  The next morning, she tells Lucas that an article in B. Davis magazine has her worried that things will change once they're around each other 24/7.  What's more thrilling than watching Lucas and Peyton ponder their domestic bliss?  Watching them unpack, of course.  They decide to lock themselves in the house for the day to arrange all of Peyton's stuff, but things get awkward once Lucas admits he doesn't like The Cure.  How will they ever survive as a couple with their different tastes in music?  What a dilemma!

Brooke (Sophia Bush) is not happy when Owen brings Sam home in the middle of the night, claiming that she was out at the bar trying to buy drinks.  I love how Owen just returned to this show randomly and with absolutely no fanfare last week.  Brooke is even more upset when her ID is missing in the morning and Sam is gone yet again.  She storms into Haley's classroom, gets her ID back, then talks to her friend afterward for some advice.  Haley suggests she lay down some ground rules with Sam.

After a bully at school makes fun of his cape, Jamie (Jackson Brundage) gets into a brawl with the brat.  Dan comes to bail him out afterwards, telling his grandson that he was teased about things while he was in prison.  I'm not sure what that's a reference to, but I'm pretty sure it's dirty.  Later that night, Haley and Nathan teach their son the importance of walking away from confrontations.
