With only a few episodes left in Once Upon a Time season 2, Belle was used once again to cause Gold pain, when he needed her the most to help protect Henry. Meanwhile, the plans to leave Storybrooke behind for the Enchanted Forest continued. And, Tamara and Greg revealed a secret weapon to use in their plot.

Robin Hood Brings Rumple and Belle Together

The love between Rumple and Belle has been somewhat of a mystery. He treated her horribly, but at some point she saw good within him and that turned into love for both of them. "Lacey" finally revealed the moment that changed their relationship.

Robin Hood broke into Rumple's castle and was captured while stealing a wand. Belle couldn't allow Rumple to harm Robin Hood and helped him escape. The cruel beast decided to go after Robin Hood and forced Belle to witness the thief's death.

When they found Robin Hood, he was reunited with a sick woman and used the wand to cure her. Belle tried to convince Rumple that the man stole the wand to do good with it and didn't deserve to die.

Rumple refused to give in until the woman was revealed to be pregnant. Belle had faith in Rumple that he wouldn't leave a child fatherless, but Rumple shot the arrow anyway. When it missed, Belle realized that there was some good in him.

After returning to the castle, Rumple gave Belle the gift of a library. It was the beginning of their love as Belle said,"You're not who I thought you were and I'm glad."

Gold Wants to Be Better

In Storybrooke, Gold woke up after he killed Henry in a nightmare. He didn't want to cause his grandson harm, but didn't trust that the darkness within him won't take over. He went to see Belle at the hospital.

She was happy to see that he didn't die. He offered to help her find herself and told her that she brought out the best in him. She said that they could help each other. Gold spoke to the hospital about getting her released.

Regina's Revenge

Regina was upset to find out that Rumple is Henry's grandfather and decided to hurt him. She gave Belle new memories of a spunky girl, Lacey. Belle left the hospital and went to hang out at the bar.

Gold was devastated to find out that Belle was transformed into Lacey. He sought David's help to figure out how to get Belle back. David said that a Belle was still in there, Gold just needed to bring it out. And, Regina said the only way was to make her fall in love with him and use Love's Kiss.

Lacey agreed to go on a date with Gold, but ditched him to kiss another guy in the alley. When Gold found out, he was upset. He decided to take it out on the guy and started beating him up.

Lacey came upon the scene and said, "You're not who I thought you were and I'm glad. You really are as dark as people say." This new personality was drawn to the darkness inside of Gold, unlike Belle who was attracted by the good within him.

It's troubling to see Lacey encouraging Gold's darkness. What will that mean for Henry? If Lacey falls in love with Gold, will he turn even darker? Or, will their kiss bring Belle back and save Gold too?

The Magic Beans

David and Mary Margaret took Emma to see the bean fields and told her about their plans to go back to the Enchanted Forest. Emma was not thrilled about the plan, but didn't entirely discount it.

Emma even implied she may leave with Henry to Regina. The mayor questioned Emma, who blew it off as nothing. Regina followed through on her threat to find out what was going on and used magic to track down the beans.

There's no way Regina will let them go back without a fight. Unless she can find a way to use it to her advantage. Could they all return to Fairy Tale Land?

The Outsiders Have Hook

Whatever Greg and Tamara are planning, it doesn't have to do with finding Greg's father. That's an entirely separate quest that he's on and he doesn't have any leads yet.

Back in New York, Tamara took Hook from the supply room as a prisoner for her plan with Greg. It's unclear what she plans on using him to do, but it's not going to be good for Storybrooke.

Tamara told Greg, "If there's one person you can always count on to do your dirty work, it's a pirate." Will Hook willingly help them? He wants to get Gold, but he doesn't seem to have an allegiance to anyone else in Storybrooke either.

Do you think Gold will be able to overcome his dark side to save Belle and Henry? What are Greg and Tamara planning? Will Regina ever be able to put Henry ahead of her constant quest for revenge?
