This fall ABC will premiere Once Upon a Time spin-off, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and the show's co-creators and executive producers and cast were at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 to dish on what's to come and make a big casting announcement Lost fans will really get excited about.

The audience was treated to 19 minutes of the premiere which ended in applause. The 19 minutes begins Alice's story in Storybrooke and going back and forth between some kind of insane asylum and Wonderland. She tries to convince a panel that she no longer believes in her Wonderland stories but they aren't buying it. Alice, is in love with Cyrus (the Genie) who gets magically "pushed" off a cliff by the Red Queen and believed to be dead. Until the White Rabbit and Knave of Hearts tells her otherwise.

The biggest news at the panel was that Jafar will be visiting Wonderland. The role will be played by Lost star Naveen Andrews. And we won't have to wait long as he will be showing up in the premiere episode. Also to be seen in the premiere is the Caterpillar and the Cheshire Cat.

By the end of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland Season 1, this story will close. Ended so that everything will be tied up. There will be a lot of questions of how and why. Answers to questions like, why is Jafar there? How did the Genie get in the bottle? How did Alice end up there?

The Executive Producers also mentioned they want to see a gay character but it will be for the right reasons and not just to do it. There will also be flashbacks like in Once Upon a Time in every episode to explain the characters. The present world will be a post-curse Wonderland.
