NYC Prep is already attracting a lot of controversy ahead of its premiere but can the docu-drama really live up to all the hype? Tonight, we find out as Bravo introduces six teenagers and take us to the lavish world of Manhattan where these kids indulge in weekend parties, shopping sprees, and classy dinners---think Gossip Girl without the fictional characters.

On NYC Prep, the spotlight will be on Camille Hughes, Jessica "Jessie" Leavitt, Kelli Tomashoff, Sebastian Oppenheim, Taylor DiGiovanni, and Peter "PC" Peterson. Camille, 17, is an academically driven student at the Nightingale-Bamford School who enjoys the occasional high school drama. Jessie, 17, is a student at the Dwight School on the Upper West Side of New York who is passionate about fashion. Kelly, 17, on the other hand, is a student at the Birch Wathen Lenox School who shares an apartment on the Upper East Side with her older brother, and hopes to be a pop star someday. Sebastian, 16, is a student at The Ross School and is known for his reputation as a womanizer. The oldest is PC, 18, a student who attends the Dwight School and the grandson of billionaire Peter Peterson, while the youngest of the bunch is Taylor, 15, a student at Stuyvesant High School and the only cast member who does not attend a private high school.

In the premiere episode called "Top Half of 1%," seniors Jessie and PC immediately establish themselves as the King and Queen of the NYC prep school scene. The fact that these two used to be an item doesn't make things easy because Jessie gets tense every time PC looks at a new girl. Jessie isn't sure if she wants to get back with PC but she definitely doesn't want anyone else to have him.

Meanwhile, Camille struggles with balancing her social life and her obsession with Harvard. Further uptown, Kelli is living the dream with her own apartment in New York City, and is later dazzled by playboy Sebastian. At the same time, public school student Taylor enters the scene and sees Sebastian as her ticket into the tight knit prep school scene.
