Navi Rawat's television credits include 24 and The O.C. She has starred in Project Greenlight's horror film, Feast, for producer Wes Craven. She will also be in the comedy Wanted Dead or Alive opposite Chris Kattan and James Denton. Her additional feature film credits include House of Sand and Fog. Rawat plays the role of Amira Ramanujan in the CBS series Numb3rs. Amita Ramanujan is a beautiful CalSci doctoral recipient in computational mathematics of Indian extraction who had Charlie Eppes as her thesis advisor. Because of this association, she assists him with various mathematical problems offered through Charlie's connection to the FBI and frequently helps him see cases in a new light. She is the best programmer Larry and Charlie know. At the close of season one, she decided to pursue a second doctoral degree in astrophysics with a new thesis advisor, Dr. Kepler. When Dr. Kepler became ill, she taught his course on the structure and dynamics of galaxies. She has also given a solar physics presentation.
