Nip/Tuck: Preview of Season 7 Premiere "Dan Daly"
Nip/Tuck: Preview of Season 7 Premiere "Dan Daly"
Another season dawns for the docs on Nip/Tuck, and we can't say it won't be their last.  The saga revolving around the McNamara and Troy family will soon come to an end, and the beginning of which will kick off tonight.  The seventh installment of the series premieres with "Dan Daly," before the story finishes nine episodes later.

But let's not speak of the final cut yet; we still have tonight.  On "Dan Daly," it's a short-lived celebration for Sean (Dylan Walsh) and Christian (Julian McMahon).  The two receive a prestigious award from their alma mater, causing them both to reminisce about their painful past.

That means this new episode will be filled with the old.  We'll most likely get clip after clip of flashbacks, with a B story on the side.  Well, it's tradition for shows that are ending anyway, but we can bet Nip/Tuck's going to bring in even more drama than usual.

Moving on, Sean starts to recall the years he's spent with Christian: their college years, ups and downs, working together as plastic surgeons.  It's going to bring back ancient aches, but the partners will realize how far they've come from being two foolish youths.

Also on "Dan Daly," we meet a new patient who needs help from McNamara/Troy.  This person self-mutilates because of a genetic disorder, which leads him to seek reconstructive surgery.  It's one bizarre case, but the team will no doubt do their best to solve it.

On last season's final note, we watched as Christian shunned a pregnant Kimber (Kelly Carlson) and told her he wanted the baby aborted.  If she agrees, he'll marry her.  Desperate, she talked to Liz (Roma Maffia) and Mike (Mario Lopez) about it and made her decision.  No more babies for Kimber, and a load of guilt for Christian.

The story continues tonight as Nip/Tuck premieres the Final Nine of the series. "Dan Daly" airs at 10pm on FX.
