'NCIS' Fan Columnist: Jet Lag Review
Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) are in Paris to retrieve a corporate whistle-blower. Nora Williams knows her boss is scamming the Navy by billing for unneeded repairs to their ships. She intends to see him arrested. Good girl.

How awkward for Tony and Ziva to be stuck with this assignment. They're in Paris together and forced to share one hotel room.

Meanwhile Special agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Tim McGee (Sean Murray) have a murder to solve. A Marine Petty Officer who took a permanent catnap in kitty litter may be important to Tony and Ziva's witness.

The Marine lived way above his means and has a safe with a dossier of their witness. He was a hit man. So who hit him?

The flight to Paris is smooth going. Tony tries his charms on a flight attendant. Nora can't wait to see her fiancé. Ziva has introduced herself to the Air Marshal. They have one passenger staked out. Si bon.

A cell phone ties the dead Marine to a notorious DC madam. She can find you a partner or an assassin if the money is right. For a plea deal she'll give NCIS the number to an off shore bank account which will lead them to the buyer of the contract. This gal doesn't come cheap.

After a few air to ground calls the team is suspicious of the Air Marshal and why he was so insistent on taking that particular flight. When the man disappears in an airliner loo Tony and Ziva investigate. They find the man dead, stabbed expertly with a knitting needle. Now really! What breach of security allows a passenger with knitting needles on an international flight? But that's another discussion...

Through it all Nora remains upbeat and inquisitive. If Tony and Ziva spent the night together in a single hotel room where did they sleep? Ziva is quick to say she was on the couch because Tony would have whined about his back.

The death of the Air Marshal proves there is an assassin on board.

On the ground the madam's plea agreement has come through. Gibbs' gets the account number and traces the money for the murder back to its source, Nora's boss.

Tony uses his digital camera to take a picture of the knitting needle and gets a good one of a bloody partial print. He sends it to Abby Sciuto and she matches it to the assassin. Seems the pretty flight attendant has a second job as a killer. Fly the friendly skies indeed.

Gibbs and McGee go to arrest Nora's boss. When they do her fiancé beats feet for the parking garage. The boss was bilking the Navy out of millions but murder wasn't on the corporate agenda. Nora's guy, a skimming accountant put out the contract to have her killed.

The case over Tony looks at his pictures of Paris. There is one he particularly likes. It's the only photo with a person in it, Ziva.

Now what about that hotel room huh?
