NCIS: Los Angeles
Season 4 begins tomorrow night with its premiere episode and if this clip is anything to go by, all is not well between Callen and Sam.
An unhappy reunion
In the video, we find out that Callen has been released from prison after the shooting and a lot has happened while he was locked up. When he gets out, he finds (who else?) his partner waiting for him. But rather than seeing a happy reunion, what we get instead is a clash between the two agents. Once Callen goes off on his own, Sam then confronts the men that have been watching them, making me wonder just what they want with Callen.
Another thing I have to wonder after seeing this clip: Is Callen really mad at everyone and everything and taking that out on Sam? That could of course be the case but I'm starting to think that maybe Callen is purposely acting like he hates Sam to protect his partner. Whatever consequences are about to rain down on him, I think that Callen doesn't want Sam to suffer along with him. Acting pissed off to keep Sam away could be the perfect way to keep his friend out of harm.
Where is Hetty?
We also find out in the video that Hetty is in fact gone, the shooting is officially under investigation and Callen has been suspended. Like I said, an awful lot has happened while Callen was behind bars. The team is in turmoil and I hope it doesn't take too long for things to get back the way they should be. With Hetty gone, I'm sure that means that Granger will be running the show and nothing ever seems to go right when he's around. This is all eerily similar to the beginning of last season, when Hetty was injured and Granger had to take over. Don't get me wrong, I love Miguel Ferrer, but I don't feel the same way about Granger.
Now that you've seen the clip, what do you think will happen tomorrow night? Do you think we'll see Callen and Hetty back at NCIS:Los Angeles any time soon?
