In the season finale of Making the Band, Diddy confirmed that not only Aubrey, but D. Woods, is no longer part of Danity Kane.  He dismissed both girls from the group, leaving Shannon, Dawn, and Aundrea shocked.  What's next for the remaining members of Danity Kane?  Fans can find out when MTV continues the saga early next year.

After all the drama from the cliffhanger live-finale, the network has ordered bonus episodes of Making the Band which will pick up where the show last left off.  With the future of Danity Kane still up in the air, the show will unfold after Diddy's shocking decision to remove Aubrey and D. Woods from the group. Fans will also find out whether the band will carry on without them and whether Aubrey and D. Woods will return to Danity Kane.

In addition to Danity Kane, the extended season of Making the Band will follow Day26 as they pursue their dreams while serving as the opening act for more established recording artists. Donnie Klang, on the other hand, will also be featured as he works his way to the top and prove to Diddy that he has what it takes to be a solo artist.

As expected, Making the Band returns will Diddy, Grammy Award-winning rapper, record producer and entrepreneur who acts as the man of the house and makes the final decision on who will be in the band.

"Diddy is a master star maker and a genius at creating drama.  With the cliffhanger ending on this season of Making the Band, we just knew the saga had to continue," Tony DiSanto, MTV executive vice president for series development & programming, said in a statement.  "There is so much more story to tell, amazing music and great drama to come.  With Diddy you never quite know exactly what's next.  But it's pretty certain you won't be able to take your eyes off!"
