One of the most enduring couples in Hollywood is over, as Lost's Naveen Andrews and veteran actress Barbara Hershey have split up after twelve years.

Andrews' manager told People magazine that the pair, who met on the set of the obscure indie film Drowning on Dry Land in 1998, remain "best of friends."

Andrews and Hershey have a 21-year age difference: he is 41, and she is 62. The two were together for twelve years, save for a brief separation in 2005, when Andrews confirmed that he had fathered a child with another woman. The pair have since worked things out and resumed their relationship until six months ago, when the two mutually parted ways.

Hershey appeared in films such as Hannah and Her Sisters and Beaches. Apart from Lost, Andrews recently guest starred on Law & Order: SVU.
