Kimberly Jayne Raver was born on March 15, 1969 in New York where she was raised. At the tender age of six, she had a regular role on the children's television series Sesame Street, which lasted three years. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in fine arts and continued to study theater with teacher and mentor Wynn Handman. Raver started appearing in commercials for Visa and Jeep and received her big break in the form of a role on a Broadway debut play, Holiday. She later appeared on the feature film City Hall alongside Al Pacino. In 2006, Raver starred in the ABC television series
The Nine as Kathryn Hale and appeared in
24 as Audrey Raines.
