Biography

American actor Robert Gillespie Adamson was born on July 11, 1985 at Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised in St. George, and attended junior high school in Springville. He traveled to Hawaii later on, and moved back to Utah afterwards. In 2003, he graduated from Alta High School. While a junior there, he became interested in acting. His class pushed him towards developing his passion. Soon, he was cast as the title character in their summer production of Shakespeare’s Othello. He then decided to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he found that he was more than caught up with the acting bug. He moved to Hollywood when he was 18, inspired by the work of actors Christian Bale and Kate Beckinsale. At some point in his life, he wanted to become a professional tennis player or a basketball player. When this didn’t work out, he found acting to be a much better choice.

Robert Adamson soon got numerous roles when he took acting as his career path. He made an appearance on the series Cold Case, portraying the carhacter Frank on the episode titled “Ravaged.” He was then given the role of Nick on the horror film Dr. Chopper, and followed this up with a role in the sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He played the character Trey? giving him the opportunity to work with Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson. His next project was starring on the ABC Family series Lincoln Heights. He plays the character Charles Antoni, the mysterious new kid in school. It was where he got his big break, leading him to more roles in his career. He soon signed on to star in the Disney Channel Movie, Princess Protection Program, working with Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez.
