Double Whammy with Denis Leary and Elizabeth Hurley; and the independent film
Searching for Paradise. Noth also starred in the HBO series
Sex and the City, where he played Mr. Big, a role he reprised in the 2008 movie of the same name. He stars in NBC's drama
Law and Order: Criminal Intent, where he reprises his original role of Detective Mike Logan, which he played on
Law & Order from 1990 to 1995. He partners with Detective Megan Wheeler.
Detective Mike Logan is a troubled detective who had formerly worked as a homicide detective in Manhattan's 27th precinct. He had been banished to the force's career graveyard after publicly punching a homophobic politician who had murdered a gay man that Logan had grudgingly come to respect; however, he redeemed himself by solving a dirty-cop murder and conspiracy case. He was later transferred from the Staten Island precinct's harbor patrol to its domestic disputes department. An officer-involved shooting that he was involved in was the ammunition used to fuel a conspiracy against Captain Deakins that led to his resignation.
