'Kyle XY' Says Goodbye, Series Finale Airs Tonight

Regardless of the legion of messages that arose from the news of Kyle XY being canceled, ABC Family seems hell-bent on ending the sci-fi series.  More than a month after a representative confirmed the cancellation, Kyle XY will  indeed wrap up its third season tonight 9pm on ABC Family.

On the series finale called “Bringing Down the House,” Kyle (Matt Dallas) gets Cassidy to open up about Latnok's plans for the future of Adam Baylin's experiment.  Meanwhile, Kyle learns that the secret society is going ahead with the mass production of more super children like Jessi and himself, with hundreds of pods ready to grow more babies. Kyle and Jessie are hell-bent on stopping it, enlisting the help of the Trager family, Declan, and Amanda.  Will they be able to find the secret test facility in time?  Tune in to find out.

ABC Family has cited the show's less-than-stellar ratings in the cancellation.  Kyle XY reeled in an average of 1.5 million viewers this season, down by more than a mil from its 2.6 million average on the first and second run.  However, prior to the debut of the network's highly controversial series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Kyle XY was ABC Family's crown jewel, its highest rated original series for two years, from June 2006 to July 2008.  Secret Life averages 2.8 million viewers.

Valiant efforts from fans, such as forming petition lists and flooding the ABC Family feedback form, proved futile thus far as there seems to be no hope for ABC Family to change its mind.

Kyle XY also stars Marguerite MacIntyre, Bruce Thomas, April Matson, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Chris Olivero, Kirsten Prout and Jaimie Alexander.

Will you watch tonight's series finale?
