An aspiring architect and businessman, 11-year-old Nathan from Mount Prospect, Illinois looks up to Ronald Reagan and Franklin D. Roosevelt as the greatest nation leaders in the history of America. He also thinks that aside from tax, terrorism will be one of the world's biggest problems in the future.

Nathan appears on CBS' Kid Nation, a reality show which sends 40 kids aged 8 to 15 to Bonanza City, New Mexico to establish their own town. Once there, they are to engage in games that would determine their social status, and deal with mature activities such as labor and governance. Every episode will end with a town meeting in which one kid will be awarded with a gold star worth $20,000.
