Fourteen-year-old Michael from Monroe, Washington is determined to help the society one day, and plans to participate in the Peace Corps. His role models are Ishmael Beah, a child soldier in Sierra Leone who wrote "A Long Way Gone" a memoir after his escape. Michael believes that ethics, compassion, selflessness, intelligence and energy are factors which make a good leader. He also thinks that the world's biggest problems are environmental damage and the United States' broken relationships with other countries across the globe.
