This week on CBS'
Kid Nation, our young settlers get into a contest of abilities and skills, when they stage a talent show in the episode called “Starved for Entertainment.”
Kid Nation is coming up on the two month mark since debuting last September 19. Last week, in the episode “The Root of All Evil,”
Divad drew the ire and possibly, envy of some of her town mates when she took free food and used it to start her own little snack business. Hopefully, there'll be less tension and politics this week, with an installment that promises more entertainment and whimsy than business.
On Wednesday, the reality show seemingly inspired by William Golding's classic
Lord of the Flies takes a turn for the artistic, when it features a talent show in its episode, “Starved for Entertainment.” While Kentucky's own
Kennedy and
Savannah slave over a typical Kentucky meal for the town's dinner, the Pioneers put up a talent show even as one of them succumbs to loneliness and the call of home fires burning.
The children show off their wares by displaying impressive skills in singing, acting and stand-up performances. However, one entry takes the stage and wows the crowd not with any vocal, musical or thespian chops, but with a stunning piece of announcement. Still on this week's
Kid Nation, one of the younglings has a bout with homesickness and wishes to leave Bonanza City.
