Kourtney Kardashian's bundle of joy will have to wait if it wants to inherit any Rolexes from daddy Disick. People reports that the Calabasas, California home of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was broken into last Saturday night. Kourtney and Scott arrived home at around 8:30 in the evening after having dinner out and found several expensive items missing from their townhouse.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Sgt. Kristy Criner revealed that around $108,000 in jewelry was stolen from the place. "That's what was discovered missing in the initial investigation," he said. "Sheriff's investigators and our crime lab are responding on the scene."
Included in the list of lost objects are Kourtney Kardashian's 30,000 Cartier watch and Scott Disick's Rolex. Apparently, the burglar had an eye for the 30-year-old reality celebrity's accessories too. Also stolen were a number of pieces of vintage jewelry that Kourtney's late father attorney Robert Kardashian left to her.
While Kourtney hasn't been able to comment on the incident, it looks like the amount of total losses could increase. The
Keeping Up with the Kardashians socialite hasn't finished going through the entire place yet.
People also reports that several celebrity homes have been broken into in the past ten months. Kourtney and Scott join Paris Hilton,
The Hills' Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan and
Heroes' Hayden Panettiere. A suspect was already arrested for ransacking the houses of Lohan and Patridge, and it was an 18-year-old named Nicholas Prugo.
As for Kourtney's case, there haven't been any leads yet. Given their reality TV fame, maybe they should start looking around eBay if any of their stuff is up for grabs there. Meanwhile, it won't be long until audiences start accusing these guys of pulling yet another publicity stunt. Whatever the case, the whole deal is still a major problem for Kourtney and the Kardashian clan.
