While everyone else expects reality celebrity Kim Kardashian
to throw a glamorous party for her 28th birthday a couple of days ago, many were surprised when a photo of her in a hospital gown appeared on People
magazine, who reports that she spent her birthday with boyfriend Reggie Bush at the hospital. Apparently, the NFL player was badly injured during his team’s game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
"I was supposed to be in London right now with Reggie but we had to cancel our trip," Kim wrote on her blog. "In the game against the Carolina Panthers [on Sunday], Reggie injured his left knee and needed surgery. When I saw him limp off the field my heart dropped!"
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Fans need not worry, though, as she reassures them that Reggie is doing well and is recovering from the injury. She says, “I immediately caught a plane to Alabama, where the best surgeons were to meet Reggie. He is recovering great and will be back on the field soon!”
She adds that the little change of plans didn’t ruin her birthday, saying, “He's pretty bummed that the special birthday he planned in London couldn't happen, but as long as he is okay, I will have the best birthday ever!”
Meanwhile, Kim was also in for an early birthday treat as for the first time, she graced an awards show as a presenter. She appeared at the Latin VMAs last Thursday, where she wore a red long gown. The 28-year-old reality celebrity was stoked to be part of the show, as it was her first time to present an award.
"I presented at my first award show! It was so much fun!" Kim wrote on her blog. "The award show was so much fun! I ran into Tila Tequila, met Flavor Flav, Gene Simmons and Katy Perry! The show was great!"
Does this mean that we’ll get to see Kim present at other MTV awards? Hopefully these stints keep her busy before the third season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians
, which is set to be released early next year.
