Now that Kris Humphries finally agreed to divorce Kim Kardashian
, some people are expecting wedding bells for the reality starlet who is pregnant with Kanye West's child. While Kim still believes and looks forward to yet another wedding, it seems that marriage isn't something on her mind right now.
"Don't you think I should slow down?" the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told Extra. "I think that I should slow down. I think that I'm just really just enjoying my time with Kanye right now and we want to have the baby. When you know how it's going to be in the end, there's no need to really rush it right now."
Kim got a divorce deal last Friday from Kris Humphries, who originally had been fighting for an annulment for their 72-day marriage.
"I'm just glad for Kris and I both that we can just move on," she revealed. "I think we ultimately both wanted the same thing so I'm glad we were able to come up with an agreement and move on for both of us."
Meanwhile, Kim's boyfriend Kanye West is scheduled to appear as a musical guest for the season finale of Saturday Night Live
on May 18, alongside host Ben Affleck. According to RadarOnline
, however, the rapper is worried that SNL
writers will be taking digs at the Keeping Up with the Kardashians
star and doesn't want any disrespectful jokes about her.
"Kanye as musical guest is a great get for SNL, but of course the writers want to push the envelope and take advantage of it with a Kim Kardashian skit," an insider at NBC told Radar. "That's not unusual since her famous family has been spoofed before with some very hilarious and spot-on impersonations of a whining Kim. They have to tread lightly because Kanye hasn't been happy with all the flack Kim's been getting about her pregnancy weight gain. It's definitely going to be a challenge - the writers don't want to piss off Kanye so they're prepared not to cross the line, but they will go as far as they can."
"The writers are pushing real hard for an over-the-top skit and the producers are there to reel them right back in if they go too far. Normally the writers have free reign and just go for it, but there has to be some boundaries when your musical guest is Kanye and he's super sensitive about the constant Kim bashing," the source added. "They've come up with a win-win scenario where Kim actually gets a cameo at the end of the skit. That would probably make everyone in Kanye's camp -- and especially Kim -- very happy."
