Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries is being brought up to the spotlight again. The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians
recently appeared on Live with Kelly
as co-host, and decided to open up about her brief marriage.
According to CBS News
, Kim talked about what it was like after her relationship with Kris Humphries ended. She moved in with her mother and thought that if anything could help her pull through it, it would be the Kardashian clan.

"I really did some soul searching, and I needed that," the reality TV personality said. "I needed to just be with the family."
Kelly Ripa also asked her about the criticism she received during that time. "I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash," Kim said.
She also added that it certainly wasn't for the money. "If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV - I'm a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer!"

reports her calling herself a "hopeless romantic." Apparently, she was swayed by her sister and mother's relationships that she decided to give it a go.
"I wanted to believe in something so badly ... Khloe and Lamar got married after knowing each other for a month and they're going on three years. My mom and Bruce after five months got married and they just celebrated their 20th anniversary. I fell in love and thought it could work just like the examples that I saw."

But for now, the Kardashians have to busy themselves with Kourtney's son Mason. They celebrated the boy's birthday last month, and photos have just been released by Us Magazine
. The cowboy-themed party was held at their Hidden Hills home in California, and even included pony rides.
Looks like Aunt Kim wasn't there to celebrate though. She must've been busy with the divorce that most of us have heard of.
