Kanye West is no stranger to grand romantic gestures but it sounds like the 36-year-old rapper is going overboard for his big day. He even teased two words that would describe his  upcoming nuptials with Kim Kardashian: "Fighter jets."

"I gotta apologize to the race of males for turning up so much," Kanye West said during his interview Big Boy Neighborhood on radio station Power 106.

It's going to be difficult to top his controversial marriage proposal at San Francisco's AT&T Park but it sounds like Kanye is pulling all the stops to make it happen. Aside from some big surprises, the rapper also revealed to Big Boy that he wants to wed the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star next summer.

The hip hop star also talked about the details of his proposal to Kim, admitting that he was a little bit nervous that things might not go according to his plan.  "They didn't have the lights exactly how I wanted them to be," he explained.

"[Kim] knew I was eventually going to ask her to marry me," he told Big Boy. "I just had to get that ring right. I worked with four different jewelers. Three rings were made and only one actually hit the finger...I actually changed the ring the night before. That ring was less than four hours old when I gave it to her."

"I wanted to marry that girl from the first time I saw her," added Kanye, who referred to Kim as his wife several times during the interview . "I just had to wait through a bunch of relationships to finally get my chance...It's just patience. You know with certain things, you're like, 'Yo, this is what's right for me, and this is what I should be doing.' And you gotta be patient."
