If you think you’ve seen the world’s wackiest game shows on television, think again.  ABC is now gearing up for their wackiest offering ever, and it comes by the name of I Survived A Japanese Game Show.  ABC has gathered ten Americans, most of which has never gone out of the country, for a grueling feat in Japan, where they will compete in the funniest and craziest games ever.  ABC has already begun shooting for the reality competition, which challenges contestants to vie for the prize of $250,000.

Also appearing on the reality competition is host and interpreter Tony Sano.  An American actor who is fluent in Japanese, Sano has previously worked on Touch Wood and Beating Vegas.  Mamasan, a house mother and resident pot stirrer, will also be leading the contestants alongside game show host Rome Kanda, who was previously seen on the Pink Panther and Saturday Night Live.

A lot of wacky challenges await the contestants on the show, and we have a little sneak peek into what kinds of tasks these will be.

First, we have “Why is this food so hard to eat?”  This task will challenge the contestants to eat food that is attached to the head of one teammate who must run in place on a fast-moving treadmill, while his partner leans over a platform and try to eat from the moving man-dish.

"Crazy Crane Finds Fluffy Bear" on the other hand, will take the American arcade game to the next level as the blindfolded teammates must operate a moving crane while the other dangles on it, trying to collect as many stuffed animals!  If you don't think that's hilarious enough then get this--"Chicken Butt Scramble"--contestants have to create their own version of Japanese scrambled eggs as they attempt to smash goo-filled oversized eggs using only their butts and while wearing no more than just chicken suits!

Ten contestants have been selected to be part of this crazy ride, and they are Mary Greenawalt, Andrew Kelly-Hayes, Belinda Madison, Cathy Nardone, Darcy Sletager, Donnell Pitman, Justin Wood, Meaghan Cooper, Olga Medvedev and Ben Hughes.

Make sure to check back for more information about these ten contestants and don't forget to mark your calendars for I Survived a Japanese Game Show, which will premiere on Tuesday, June 24 at 9pm on ABC.  The show is executively produced by Arthur Smith adn Kent Weed of A. Smith & Co., the company behind reality shows The Swan and Kitchen Nightmares.
