The upcoming eighth season of How I Met Your Mother is going to be full of familiar faces from the past. The latest guest star to come back is True Blood and Magic Mike hunk Joe Manganiello, who will reprise his role as Marshall's law school pal Brad in two episodes.

How I Met Your Mother is available on Amazon Prime.

Brad was last seen at the start of season 5 when he went on a date with Robin that made Barney jealous. Before that he was best known for his bromantic brunch with Marshall.

Manganiello joins Fairly Legal's Michael Trucco and Ashley Williams as notable returning guest stars. Williams played Ted's ex Victoria while Trucco played a guy Robin had a crush on who we were told would come back into her life later.

How I Met Your Mother co-creator Craig Thomas has said that more notable faces from the past seasons will return now that the show is winding down and nearing the finale.

What faces might return? Well, since it seems Robin's exes are showing up, probably because we now know she's going to marry Barney, maybe some more will pop up. Here are my top three picks for actors I'd love to see again.

Alexis Denisof: Sandy has shown up throughout the series as Robin's co-worker, boss and love interest. The fact that he's married to Alyson Hannigan makes it far more likely that he'll show up again on the show.

Enrique Iglesias: Remember when Robin and Ted broke up and she came back to town with Gael? Just imagine the square tonnage of hotness if Iglesias, Trucco and Manganiello showed up in the same Robin dream sequence?

James Van Der Beek: Sure, he's on a different network comedy right now, but Robin's Canadian boyfriend would be fun to see again, especially if it would come with another Robin Sparkles song.

What old faces from How I Met Your Mother would you love to see again?
