It's finally here. On tonight's episode of House, the romp that some House fans say is five seasons in the making is finally going to be realized, as Lisa Edelstein, who plays Cuddy, says the Huddy sex is "a pretty hot scene."
"It was great. I wouldn't complain. I have a great friendship with Hugh, and he's supersexy, so who could complain about kissing him?" she says of the kiss, and as far as the romp was concerned, "You're not gonna see me get naked or anything, but it was a pretty hot scene."
As for the implications of House (Hugh Laurie) and Cuddy doing it, Edelstein says she doesn't think of it as "a passing thing." She, however, cautions Huddy fans that the romp may exactly be good for the budding relationship, as there's no certainty if it will be "satisfying," which isn't really hard to imagine since Edelstein admits Cuddy has a "complicated" relationship with men in general.
"She likes the screwed up ones. I totally relate. It's a beautiful, complicated adult relationship between those two characters. Neither person is one thing or another. They're dynamic individuals."
In addition, Edelstein doesn't think Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) will feel any kind of jealousy regarding the hookup.
"Part of her sees the House-Cuddy relationship as the right thing, and maybe a part of her will always have that crush on House. Like we all carry a torch for somebody. But no, I think if anything, Cuddy worries about Cameron."
On tonight's episode of the Fox medical drama, the team encounters a case of a ballerina (guest star Jamie Tisdale) whose lungs collapse during a performance. Things turn from bad to worse when the ensuing treatment causes her skin to fall off, and she faces the prospect of never dancing again. For his part, House must contend with this puzzle while battling his perceived insomnia.
