Hulk Hogan's Miami estate sold for more than $18 millionProfessional wrestler and star of Hogan Knows Best, Hulk Hogan, has made a sizable profit from his bayfront mansion in Miami.  After months of being on the market, Hogan finally found a buyer in the form of big-time director Michael Bay, known for helming such blockbusters as Transformers, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys 1 and 2 and Armageddon.

The 17,339-square-foot house, which was featured in the previous season of Hogan Knows Best, sold for a little more than $18.9 million.  The property includes a five-car garage, pool and cabana, a high-tech security system and direct boat access on Biscayne Bay.  The main house contains six bedrooms and two full guest apartments, as well as a media room and a spacious rooftop terrace.

Hulk Hogan purchased the house in April 2006, hoping his children, Brooke and Nicholas, would have an easier time pursuing their singing and acting careers.  Back then, the house cost Hogan $12 million, meaning the wrestler made at least $6 million with the recent sale.

The huge profit more than makes up for the $100,000 worth of jewelry the Hogans lost when a robber gained access to the gated mansion.  The family was in the process of moving out of the house, and when Nicholas went to fetch the bejeweled items, they were gone.

Hulk Hogan and his family, who also appears in Hogan Knows Best, are relocating to an estate near Clearwater, Florida.  At present, his reality series is on its fourth season, airing Sunday nights at 9:30pm on VH1.

In addition to the successful sale of his Miami home, Hogan has gained more money from his new product, “Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill.”  More than 11,400 units were sold in 24 hours on QVC, earning Hogan over $1.1 million.  Furthermore, the wrestler announced recently that he has raised a good portion of the funds he will need to start his own wrestling federation, which he claims will be different than other series showcasing the sport.
