As we expected, someone debunked the rumor that
High School Musical stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were splitting up. Well, we didn't have much faith in that piece of gossip anyway. Their relationship has been quite the topic tortured by the press, but it's still not as scandalous as say, Jon and Kate Gosselin.
Gossip Cop has reported that the representatives of the actors denied allegations that Zanessa was breaking up. Earlier this week, an insider told
Showbiz Spy that the two were on the verge of ending their romance due to so much time they spent apart. It was already difficult to believe, and now we know what really went on.
The reps for Zac and Vanessa admitted that they were unaware of any news regarding the parting of the two. Also, someone close to Efron knew how the stars were trying their best to make time for each other.
Gossip Cop even said that both of them were in Vancouver, where he's filming
The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud and she's getting busy with
Sucker Punch. But before we get to their upcoming film projects, there's already another Efron flick that premiered at last year's Toronto International Film Festival. Recently,
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Richard Linklater's
Me and Orson Welles has received its U.S. release date. The film will be hitting theaters on November 25 this year.
As Zac Efron's first indie flick,
Me and Orson Welles will definitely get its fair share of viewers. Personally, I'd only watch it because of Linklater's involvement and not that of the Disney star. You still can't stop thinking of Troy Bolton on the trailer below, and that kind of bothers me.
